Yup, Newgrounds (and other sites like ArmorGames.com for instance, which I really like too) is a treasure chest for games like that. And it's fascinating to see even these modest indie titles becoming better and better every year. It's always great to see guys starting small and then becoming pretty much the new sensation of the gaming industry. That's a breath of fresh air at a time where the budget required to make a major video game is way too high.
Thankfully there are bloody talented studios like Atlus to make awesome big releases too.
Depends on what type of games you like. It's a 2D platformer with addictive but unforgiving gameplay, where the basis is that you can jump and stick to walls. It's a lot like N or N+ if you know these games. It can be frustrating but it's incredibly rewarding when you master it. If you have an Xbox 360 you can try the demo. The game is also on PC and is very cheap.
