Catherine

Today February 17th is the official release date of Catherine in Japan. Here's a little fanart to celebrate.
Catherine is the new game from the Persona 4 team at Atlus, notably Katsura Hashino (Director), Shigenori Soejima (Character Design) and Shoji Meguro (Music).

It's an extremely interesting project, with the social element of the Persona series mixed, this time, with a puzzle game based on quick reflexion and reflexes. The themes Atlus want to develop in the story are also fascinating because rarely well explored in gaming : dream, madness, engagement, marriage, temptation, sex. I personnaly can't wait.

There's no release date in USA or Europe yet, but I bet it will be announced soon. We'll probably have to wait a little while however. A demo is available right now on japanese Xbox Live.

Edit : Catherine will be available july 26th in US stores. Good job Atlus, but don't forget Europe !

Edit #3 : Ok, I've actually finished the game now. So long since I've done this fanart, but I loved the game. So original, with great characters and story, and some crazy endings. Try to get them all folks, it's worth the effort ! And Atlus managed somehow to include an insane twist after the end of the game (play the other modes to find out). Long story short : "Fuckin' cubes, I'm gonna climb the shit outta you !"
